Lewis believes in making therapy both functional and practical. He employs a variety of techniques, including play-based interventions and a regulation-focused approach, ensuring that the skills learned in sessions can be easily applied at home. Building strong connections with his clients and their families is at the heart of Lewis's practice, as he believes trust and rapport are essential for achieving the best outcomes.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Lewis stays current with the latest research and innovations in paediatric occupational therapy. He has completed formal training in supporting children and families who have experienced trauma, as well as Learn To Play therapy.
When he's not helping children achieve their therapy goals, you will find Lewis on the basketball court, playing for the NBL1 East Newcastle Falcons alongside The Gray Area Director, Myles Cherry.
Lewis is excited to work with your child and family, providing compassionate, effective, and fun occupational therapy services to help your child explore and develop their unique strengths and abilities. He finds immense joy in celebrating milestones and accomplishments with children and their parents, making every step of the journey rewarding for all involved.
