THERAPY / INTERVENTION
Occupational Therapy intervention can provide a safe, fun environment for your child to build confidence in the daily tasks they find difficult. Our Occupational Therapists prioritise building a strong rapport with your child and family, and our therapy approach is goal-focused and individualised for your child.
TYPES OF INTERVENTION
1. Face to Face
Our Occupational Therapists will provide activities that are engaging and motivating for your child, by incorporating their unique strengths and interests to help them build on their skills. This can be within the environment of our clinic, your home, or your child's school, depending on your goals.
2. Parent Education
We understand that as parents, there comes a lot of questions, and sometimes these can't be discussed in front of your child during a session. Our Occupational Therapists can provide session feedback, recommendations, or parent education via Telehealth, or face to face appointments, to make sure that your child's intervention is tracking towards your family goals.
3. Telehealth
Our Occupational Therapists can provide sessions via Telehealth, if you ever can't make a face to face appointment. Telehealth may also be a suitable option for regular intervention, depending on your child's goals.
